Marla is a senior researcher with The Everest Project.  She is Assistant Professor of Management and Organizational Development at D’Amore-McKim School of Business of Northeastern University. She received her doctorate in Management at the A.B. Freeman School of Business of Tulane University and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Howard University. Her research focus is gender, diversity, modern sexism, sexuality in the workplace, and organizational politics. In 2006, she was a researcher for the Black Women Executive Research Initiative, commissioned by The Executive Leadership Council. Baskerville-Watkins has published in the Academy of Management Perspectives, the Journal of Managerial Psychology, and the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology.
